The Celtic Cowboys Sports & Social Club was established in 2004. The objective was to create an opportunity for members to be part of a sporting community that promotes fun and friendship for the entire family. In line with traditional Irish/Celtic beliefs & influences from home this has & will continue to be the core objective of the club:

The first team to represent the club played in Division 3 of the Austin Men's Soccer League and played their first game in August 2004. Since then the club has grown significantly to now incorporate a Gaelic Football team, a Hurling Team , 5 Men's Soccer teams, a Ladies Soccer team (Celtic Cowgirls), an U-10 & U-11 Boys Soccer teams and a Ladies Social Club. Additionally we run regular Golf classics and a very successful annual Rose of Tralee gala, plus numerous other social events. We also volunteer on a number of community service initiatives including Habitat for Humanity. Our intention is to continue our development and to add to these events.
